Opposition Spokesman on Finance Julian Robinson has asserted that the majority of JPS customers will not benefit significantly from the announced cut in the General Consumption Tax on electricity.
Mr Robinson told Radio Jamaica News that customers who consume less than 150 kilowatt of electricity per month would not benefit.
He said this is because the government already removed GCT from customers in that consumption bracket.
On the other hand, Mr Robinson said the measure will help large JPS customers.
