Pennants residents want compensation for land used to build bridge

Residents of Pennants in Clarendon are seeking a meeting with the National Works Agency (NWA) to ascertain whether they will be compensated for their lands which were cleared to facilitate construction of a bridge.
  
The bridge is to be opened on Thursday.
  
The residents say the bridge was constructed by China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC).
  
Some of the residents say they signed documents giving the company permission to use their land. However, others said no on spoke to them.

The residents want the authorities to say whether those affected will be relocated. Some residents said that was promised to them at the start of the project.
