Petersfield High student in custody after stabbing schoolmate during fight

A Grade 10 student of Petersfield High School in Westmoreland has been taken in custody by the police following a stabbing at the institution this morning.
 
The student used a knife to injure another girl during an altercation. 
 
The injured girl was taken to hospital where she was treated and released.
 
It's reported that lessons were halted following another fight at Petersfield High about 10:30 this morning.
 
A third incident involving students took place outside the school grounds. 
 
Radio Jamaica News was informed that parents were called in for an urgent meeting.
