The Police Federation will be seeking clarification from the High Command on Wednesday on reports that there is a requirement for vaccination against COVID-19 for candidates for promotional training.
Radio Jamaica News has received reports from concerned Jamaica Constabulary Force members.
One report said the candidates had until 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon to indicate whether they would be vaccinated.
When contacted, Corporal Rohan James, Chairman of the Police Federation, confirmed that he heard similar reports.
Corporal James said a meeting would be held with the High Command to discuss the matter.
