The police have laid charges against the manager of a gas station in Buff Bay, Portland who was reportedly held in possession of an illegal weapon and nearly 70 rounds of ammunition on the weekend.
Damion Rose, 45, has been charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Unauthorised Possession of Ammunition and Using premises to store a weapon.
He's also charged with the offence of Using Premises to Stockpile Weapons.
The police also seized J$21 million and US$46,000 at the service station.
The Financial Investigations Division is probing the source of the cash.
Mr Rose was among six persons arrested during a raid on the service station by members of the security forces on Saturday.
His two sons, aged 14 and 15 years, were charged and later released on station bail.
Three other adults, including two pump attendants, have been charged in the case.
More than 20 people were detained in a series of police operations in Portland on the weekend.
