The Social Development Commission (SDC) says it is compliant with the submission of its annual reports and audited statements and has denied assertions from a member of a Parliamentary Committee.
Member of Parliament Alando Terrelonge at Wednesday's sitting of the Public Administration and Appropriations Committee (PAAC) claimed that the SDC was one of several agencies which had failed to provide annual reports and audited financial statements.
The Commission has issued a statement asserting that it is compliant.
The SDC, in that statement, said it is awaiting the audit of its financial statements for 2015/2016, after which its annual report will be submitted to its parent Ministry.
