Search on for gunmen involved in Manchester shootout with police

Detectives from the Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch are searching for other men believed to have been involved in Sunday's shootout with the police on the Winston Jones Highway in Manchester. 
 
About 2:30 p.m., the Mandeville Police were informed that gunmen were travelling in a car.
 
The vehicle was intercepted near Greenvale and there was a shootout.
 
An alleged gunman was killed during the incident and another man taken into custody.
 
The deceased was identified as Andrew Chambers of Farm in Spur Tree, Manchester.
 
Two police officers were also injured.
 
Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, Communication Officer for the Jamaica Constabulary Force, said the man in custody will be charged, while a search is on for the other men involved in the incident.  
 
She said the two injured cops are recovering from minor injuries.
