Radio Jamaica News has been informed that the St. Ann-based teacher who was taken into custody last week following allegations that he molested one of his students, has been charged.
The 24-year-old teacher was charged on the weekend with one count of buggery, indecent assault and grievous sexual assault by the St. Ann CIB.
He is booked to appear in court this week.
The teacher was arrested on Thursday after a criminal complaint was filed by a 15-year-old student.
Investigators are probing whether there have been similar complaints about the teacher from other students.
