Two shot dead in Manchester

Two people were killed by gunmen in Manchester this morning.
 
The attack occurred about 12:15 s.m. along the Kendal main road.
 
The deceased are 29-year-old Damion Robinson, otherwise called 'Bleachers', a painter of Mike Town district, Manchester, and 22-year-old Shammoy Borah, of Glen Town, Comma Pen, St. Elizabeth.
 
Investigators say the victims were among three passengers in a grey Toyota Mark X at the entrance to the community of Barrett Piece, when gunmen sprayed the vehicle with bullets.
 
Robinson and Borah were shot.
 
They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
 
Another passenger escaped injury.
 
Eleven spent shells were found on the scene.
 
A resident of Barrett Piece, who spoke with Radio Jamaica News, said he heard explosions and went to investigate. 
 
"[When] mi reach to the car, mi see seh is a likkle young yute get gunshot and mi deh deh a mek some call and mek police know. About 20 minutes after we find out a girl deh 10 seconds away from the car lie down with gunshot".
