UPDATE: Almost 60 firearms seized at Montego Bay wharf

There has been another major gun find at the wharf in Montego Bay, St. James.
 
Radio Jamaica News was informed that 59 illegal guns, including four high-powered rifles, were seized Friday afternoon by members of the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigations Branch (C-TOC).
 
Customs officials along with US law enforcement agents were also part of the operation.
 
The weapons were seized in a shipment originating from overseas.
 
The operation is ongoing.
 
Friday's seizure followed another gun find at the Freeport Wharf last Friday.
 
In that operation, 22 illegal guns and a quantity of ammunition were seized.
