The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has confirmed Radio Jamaica Sports report from two days ago that Jamaican sprint hurdler Rushelle Burton and American sprinter Tamara Clark have served 4 month bans for the use of a prohibited method (iv infusion).
Burton and Clark were charged in relation to Rule 2.2 of the WADA Code, which deals with "possession of a prohibited substance or a prohibited method".
The report said that the athletes voluntarily admitted to the offense and were given the reduced sanction of four months under the WADA Code.
