Chase replaces McCoy in Windies T20 squad

Barbadian all-rounder Roston Chase has replaced Obed McCoy in the West Indies 15-member squad for the three match T20 international series against South Africa starting on March 25.

McCoy was named in the original squad subject to medical clearance, but has been ruled out of the upcoming series due to a knee injury.

The 30 year old Chase has played 6 T20 internationals with his last game coming against India at Eden Gardens in February 2022.

The three-match T20 series bowls off on Saturday, March 25 at Supersports Park in Centurion.

The second match will be at the same venue the following day, while the third match will be at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Tuesday March 28.

The T20 international series will be preceded by a three-match one day international (ODI) series.

This team will be led by Jamaica's Rovman Powell. Brandon King and Odean Smith are the other Jamaicans in the squad.
