Fresh from helping Everton to remain in top flight football in England, Demarai Gray has been included in Jamaica's 60- man squad released on Thursday by CONCACAF for the Gold Cup.
The 26 year old winger who joined Everton from Bayer Leverkusen in 2021, has been linked with Jamaica and reports came last month that he had secured a Jamaican passport.
After representing England at the youth level, Gray was called up for the senior squad, but has never represented that country in international football.
Also included in the long list is former Arnett Gardens player Ronaldo Cephas who now plays for KF Shkupi in the Macedonian top flight.
20 year old defender Ian Fray of Inter Miami and 18 year old central midfielder Delano Splatt of Fulham are also included. Defender Michael Hector who has not been in a national setup since 2021, is part of the provisional squad.
Young standout Dujuan “Whisper” Richards is involved, while the Jamaica Premier League's leading scorer Colin Anderson makes the cut.
