ISSA eyes mid November for resumption of high school sports

The Inter Secondary School Sports Association (ISSA) is eying mid November for the resumption of school sports which have been crippled by the Covid 19 pandemic.

ISSA president Keith Wellington told Radio Jamaica Sports the association has written to the government seeking approval to bring back school sports starting with football.

Wellington, who is also principal of St Elizabeth Technical High School, stressed that a high rate of vaccination among student athletes will have a significant bearing.
