Jamaican jockeys in the hunt in North America

Two Jamaican jockeys were in the winners' enclosure at race tracks in the United States on Monday.   

Three time Jamaican champion Andrew Ramgeet won the opening event on the 8 race card at Mountaineer Resort & Park in West Virginia astride the 11 - 1 chance "Rosta" over 7 furlongs.     

Meanwhile, Jason Simpson won aboard 7 - 1 shot "Macho Muchacho" over a mile and 70 yards at Finger Lakes in upstate New York.
