A police corporal was granted bail when he appeared in the Westmoreland Parish Court on Monday.
Corporal Shawn Walker is answering to charges related to non-fatal shooting involving two men.
The incident occurred on December 25, 2022 at a Sports Bar and Night Club in Frome, Westmoreland.
Following an investigation by the Independent Commission of Investigations, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions ruled that Corporal Walker be charged with two counts of wounding with intent and Discharging a Firearm in any Place.
Corporal Walker was granted bail in the sum of $400,000 with one to two sureties, and reporting conditions.
