Jamaican jockey Kiaman McGregor had his best day in the saddle on North American soil after booting home his first three-timer on Sunday's 9-race card at Grants Pass Downs in Oregon.
McGregor scored comfortable victories in races 4 and 5 before closing out his natural hattrick aboard the 2-1 chance Drink Up Butter Cup in a 3 year old claiming contest for fillies and mares over 5 furlongs round.
McGregor has so far registered 7 wins from 26 mounts to go along with 8 second placings and 5 third place finishes to sit second in the jockeys' standing for the season which runs from September 8 to October 14.
