Former Mount Alvernia High school sprinter Kemba Nelson is set to join the University of Oregon in the United States. After leaving Mount Alvernia, Nelson attended the University of Technology.
She has a personal best of 11.49 seconds in the 100m and 23.57 seconds in the 200m. She represented Jamaica at the Carifta Championships in 2019.
