Windies assistant coach endorses bonus points system used in Super50 Cup

West Indies assistant coach Floyd Reifer has hinted that the bonus points system used during this season's regional Super50 Cup could be carried over into the regional youth competitions.

During the just concluded Super50 Cup, teams were able to earn over 15 bonus points per game.

Points were earned for run rates during specific power plays, the number of wickets taken in the power play and for having a low percentage of dot deliveries during an innings. Reifer says this forms the basis of how the Windies senior team wants to play.
