The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah was the lowest-rated in Grammy history.
Music's "biggest night" attracted some 8.8 million viewers for the network during the ceremony's broadcast on Sunday night.
Previously, the least-watched Grammys was the hostless awards ceremony in 2006, which snagged 17 million viewers.
The all-time high viewership of 39.9 million was recorded in 2012.
