In honour of her numerous accomplishments, Barbados plans on honoring her with her own street, named Rihanna Drive.
The Government of Barbados will on Independence Day, Thursday November 30, officially change the name of Westbury New Road located in St. Michael to Rihanna Drive.
Born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, she grew up in Westbury New Road, Barbados.
Rihanna will join Prime Minister Freundel Stuart for a two-hour ceremony that will include the unveiling of Rihanna Drive.
