Beyoncé became the first woman of colour to headline the Coachella music festival in Indio, California.
Her iconic performance gave birth to a new name with many referring to the festival as Beychella.
Performing her catalog of hits, she surprised concertgoers with a Destiny's Child reunion, a performance with her husband Jay Z and a dance off with her sister, Solange.
The highlight for many Jamaicans is her inclusion of her collaboration with Sean Paul and Mr. Vegas and her sampling of Sister Nancy's Bam Bam and Dawn Penn's You Don't Love Me.
