Beyoncé will be honoured with the prestigious Humanitarian Award at the upcoming 20th annual BET Awards show.
The BET Awards began handing out the Humanitarian Award in 2002 to honour celebrities who donate their time and money to charitable causes.
Honourees have included Muhammad Ali, "Magic" Johnson, Denzel Washington, Alicia Keys, Wyclef Jean, John Legend, Steve Harvey, Dwayne Wade and rapper Nipsey Hussle.
Additionally, the event's star-studded roster will include a tribute to late Lakers star Kobe Bryant by Lil Wayne and a memorial to rock pioneer Little Richard by comedian/singer Wayne Brady.
The socially-distanced broadcast will also honour Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and D-Nice as the 2020 Shine a Light Honorees, which recognizes exceptional resilience, ingenuity and creativity in the face of adversity.
The award show will air on BET and CBS on Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
