According to 13thstreetpromotions.com, the single produced by Joe Gibbs gave the young Aitkens who was a student at the time, her first number one hit in Jamaica, with high chartings in the US and UK.
The single was featured on her 1981 debut, Reggae Impact, and was a cover of the late Alton Ellis 1967 version.
I'm Still In Love has been sampled by Sean Paul, Beres Hammond, Trinity, and Althea & Donna.
