Actress Phylicia Rashad, who played Bill Cosby's TV wife on The Cosby Show, has reacted with joy to news that the once incarcerated comedian has been freed.
Her post on social media site Twitter was met with disapproval, as persons questioned her recent appointment as Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Howard University.
Many have reacted to the news of Cosby's release with disappointment saying that the lack of justice is why victims of sexual assault do not come forward.
The disgraced comedian and actor saw his sexual assault conviction overturned today by Pennsylvania's highest court.
The state Supreme Court found an agreement with a previous prosecutor that prevented the 83-year-old from being charged for allegedly drugging and molesting Temple University sports administrator Andrea Constand in 2004.
The ruling also bars any retrial in the case.
