'Bob Marley: One Love' movie trailer released

Paramount Pictures today released the trailer for the upcoming Bob Marley biopic, Bob Marley: One Love.

The trailer, starring Kingsley Ben-Adir is set to highlight the life and legacy of the late reggae icon from his early beginnings to his rise to global stardom.

Glimpses of the Natural Mystic artist performing on stage to him relaxing with his family paint a picture of his life. The trailer also sets the scene for an assassination attempt, which he survived.

Lashana Lynch plays the role of Bob Marley's wife, Rita Marley.

"King Richard" director Reinaldo Marcus Green helmed the biopic.

Filmed in England and Jamaica, the cast and crew is said to represent one of the most unique creations emerging out of a hollywood studio.

The Stir It Up singer's son Ziggy Marley joins the project as a producer. He first showcased a sneak peek of "Bob Marley: One Love" at this year's CinemaCon.

"Bob Marley: One Love" is set to debut in theaters on January 12, 2024.
