Davina Bennett was on Saturday crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2017.
The event which took place at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel saw 17 girls vying for the title, and the opportunity to represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant.
Davina walked away with three sectional prizes, the Gleaner Online's Social Media Award, Miss Universe Jamaica Runway Star and Miss Universe Jamaica's Altruism Award.
She has launched her Davina Bennett Foundation for the Deaf, and has begun to promote a newly developed mobile app designed to teach sign language.
Janae Jackson had to settle for second with Sara-Jade Kow placed third.
