US President Donald Trump is the most admired man for 2020 while former first lady Michelle Obama tops the female list.
An annual survey conducted by Gallup asked respondents which man and woman living anywhere in the world they admired most this year with 18 percent selecting Trump while 10 per cent named Mrs Obama.
Vice President-elect Kamala Harris came in second with six per cent.
Trump's first-place finish unseated former President Barack Obama from atop the list — a place he held for the past 12 years.
Others in the top 10 most admired men are President-elect Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Pope Francis, Senator Bernie Sanders, Microsoft's Bill Gates and NBA star LeBron James.
First lady Melania Trump came in third among most-admired women, followed by media mogul Oprah Winfrey, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Queen Elizabeth II.
