Licensed firearm holders are being warned to be careful about how they conduct themselves on social media following the seizure of a gun belonging to popular dancehall selector Tony Matterhorn.
The Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) seized the weapon after Matterhorn made expletive-laced comments against another entertainer, Bounty Killer, on social media.
Oshin Levy, Corporate Communications Officer at the FLA, has confirmed the authority is carrying out an investigation in relation to the selector.
He said when a report is received by the FLA that alludes to misconduct by a licensed firearm holder, assessments are done and an investigation is launched.
If the investigation determines that the holder is unfit to bear arms, that privilege is revoked.
