Forbes magazine has announced its list of the world's 100 most powerful women of 2020 with German Chancellor Angela Merkel claiming the number one spot for the tenth year in a row.
European Central Bank head Christine Lagarde is at number two for the second consecutive year with newcomer U.S. Vice President-elect Kamala Harris debuting in the number three slot.
Some of the world's most beloved personalities and entertainers also made the cut, including Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé Knowles, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and the longest-reigning British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.
Influential leaders from 30 countries in politics, entertainment and business have secured places on the list which include 10 heads of state and 38 CEOs.
