Ky-mani Marley’s latest release – Hope Chant that premiered worldwide on the weekend features American Country Music artiste Big Kenny from the duo Big & Rich and debuts Ky-mani’s son, KJ Marley.
Directed by Mykal Cushnie, the video was shot in early November in Trench Town and at Tuff Gong Studios; locations that have played a significant role in the development of his music.
Hope Chant - the first single from Big Kenny Presents Electro Shine Record will be released in 2014. Hope Chant is an up tempo song, fusing together Techno and Reggae beats.
Marley is also working on his new clothing line Konfrontation and focusing on his non-profit organization LOAF (Love Over All Foundation), while recording new and material for his upcoming album Evolution of a Revolution .
