Jamaican singer OMI's hit single Cheerleader is the gift that keeps on giving as it has now surpassed one billion views on YouTube.
The single was released in April 2015, and became an international success topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
It also inspired numerous remixes which further propelled the song, eventually leading to it being crowned song of the summer.
Cheerleader was listed among the top 20 most searched songs on Shazam this week.
