Orange is the New Black is returning for season 5 on streaming service Netflix.
This season is poised to be the most political yet.
Filming, which took place during the US presidential election last year, magnified the social issues explored in the series.
Series producers say Orange is the New Black will continue to tackle LGBTQ issues, the Black Lives Matter movement, mental illness and prison reform.
The new season of "OITNB" begins streaming Friday at midnight.
