Disney+ has secured a slew of top artists to join the voice cast of its reboot of the animated series, The Proud Family Louder and Prouder.
Chance the Rapper, Lil Nas X and Lizzo have all signed on to the show, while guest appearances will include Normani, Tiffany Haddish, Anthony Anderson, Gabrielle Union, Jaden Smith, and Al Roker.
Billy Porter and Keke Palmer will serve as recurring cast members as Porter plays a gay dad and Palmer is to voice his 14-year-old activist daughter.
The show first debuted more than twenty years ago on Disney Channel and depicted the experiences of a Black family in America, with plotlines touching on racial and social issues.
Kyla Pratt will reprise her role as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud and Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby.
