Recording artiste and cabaret singer Karen Smith is to be buried on October 6, at the St. James Parish Church in Montego Bay.
Smith died on September 11 after battling colon cancer for more than a year.
She is best remembered for the covers Wide Awake In A Dream and Oh Me Oh My and teaming up with Gem Myers and Patricia Edwards to form the group PaKaGe.
Smith was conferred with the Order of Distinction in 2006 by the Government of Jamaica for her contribution to the music industry.
She was also the recipient of nine Jamaican Music Industry Awards.
