Spice releases new single "God A Bless Me"

Queen of Dancehall Spice has returned to the music scene with a new single.

The song titled God A Bless Me was released today with an accompanying video.

To coincide with the release, Spice took to Instagram Live to share that she almost died after suffering complications from a hernia that led to sepsis and required emergency surgery last year while she was in the Dominican Republic.

Earlier this week, The Romping Shop singer sent social media into a frenzy after she posted a photo of herself with what appeared to be a baby bump, captioned, "God has been so good to me".

Spice shared during today's live that the photo was to signal of her "re-birth" after her medical ordeal.

She also says she's working on new music, which includes the gospel genre.

Spice, whose real name is Grace Hamilton has been keeping a low profile for the past 6 months.
