The woman who sued American singer Trey Songz in February over an alleged rape has voluntarily dropped her lawsuit.
The unidentified woman, dubbed Jane Doe, filed a lawsuit on February 15, seeking $20 million in damages, claiming that the singer, born Tremaine Neverson, raped her at a Los Angeles house party in 2016.
Last week, she asked a Los Angeles court to dismiss her case without stating a reason for the dismissal.
The case was dropped "without prejudice," meaning it could be re-filed.
The case was one of several allegations of sexual misconduct against Songz, as in December, a woman named Jauhara Jeffries filed a lawsuit in Florida alleging that he assaulted her at a Miami nightclub in 2017.
In January, former University of Nevada basketball star Dylan Gonzalez accused Songz of raping her at a Las Vegas hotel, and most recently, a woman named Megan Johnson threatened to sue over an incident at a casino in which Songz pulled down her bikini top and exposed her breasts.
