Irish potatoes
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining will be launching the national Irish potato planting programme on Wednesday morning.
The move comes as the ministry seeks to reduce Jamaica's food and consumer goods import bill.
The bill stood at US$1.13 billion for the first seven months of this year.
