Air Canada says it will restore some service along routes to Jamaica and other destinations beginning in early May.
It is also looking to resume service to Barbados and Mexico as the expiration of Canada's sunny destination flight ban ends on April 30.
According to media reports in Canada, all major Canadian airlines are planning to resume their vacation-destination routes, with some tickets available for sale the next day.
