American Airlines, the world's largest carrier says by December, it will increase the number of flights coming to Jamaica, to 17 flights per day.
This is to meet the increasing demand for travel.
In a release from the tourism ministry, the airline said the number of daily flights between Kingston and Miami, will increase from one to three.
American Airlines will also offer three nonstop flights per week between Philadelphia and Kingston.
The additional capacity into Kingston will also be matched by more seats into Montego Bay.
American Airlines recently announced that as of November, it will be deploying its large capacity 787 planes on several routes to Jamaica.
