Effective Tuesday, Bank of Nova Scotia will cease collecting utility bill payments at its branches. The decision follows an agreement reached with the National Water Commission, Cable and Wireless and the Jamaica Public Service Company earlier this year.
As a result of the change, BNS is encouraging the modern option of paying bills through TeleScotia.
BNS says the change will allow it to offer speedier and more efficient service in branches; as more than 19,000 bills are paid each month through its 39 branches.
