The local tourism sector is receiving a major boost from a US based travel firm. Southwest Airlines Vacations is offering travelers a savings of US$100 when booking Jamaica vacation packages of five or more nights. In order to take advantage of the deal, travelers must book their packages by August 12. They can travel up to December 23.
One-day advance purchase is required and blackout dates and restrictions may apply. Southwest said daily flight service to Montego Bay varies based on departure day and origin city.
