New flights from Glasgow, Scotland to Jamaica have been announced by a British airline, bringing more seats to the island.
Thomson Airways announced a new seasonal route to Jamaica which will allow Scottish holiday makers to fly direct to the Caribbean island for the first time.
The seasonal route to Jamaica will run weekly from June 22 to July 13, coinciding with the school summer holidays.
Previous Glasgow-Jamaica flights in 2010 were for cruise passengers only.
