C&WJ; and Westmoreland Cooperative Credit unions merge

There has been further consolidation of the credit union movement with the announcement of another merger. C&WJ Cooperative Credit union has merged with Westmoreland Cooperative Credit Union. The merger took effect on September 1.  

C&WJ now has an asset base of J$7.4 billion, J$6 billion in savings, J$800 million in capital and 66,000 members
