Caribbean Assurance Brokers is reporting a net loss of $98.5 million for the financial year which ended on December 31.
This represents a sharp decline when compared with a $123.5 million profit recorded during the previous financial year.
Raymond Walker, founder and CEO of the company, says the reversal in the company's fortunes was mainly due to increased operating costs and long-term sustainable growth and development.
