The banking operations of Republic Bank Cayman Limited were merged into Cayman National Bank Limited.
The move took effect on May 1.
The announcement from Cayman National Corporation Limited, the largest financial services company based in the Cayman Islands, follows the receipt of all regulatory approvals.
The Republic Bank's security operations will be merged into the operations of Cayman National Securities Limited.
Group President of Republic Financial Holdings Limited, Nigel Baptiste, said the mergers will allow the group to strengthen its operations in the Cayman Islands.
