The Companies Office of Jamaica (COJ) is expanding its online platform.
The expanded platform will allow persons to register their businesses and companies from anywhere in the world, by the end of the year.
The platform, Electronic Business Registration Form, which was launched last year, currently facilitates persons registering the names of their business or company.
Speaking at the eighth Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference on Tuesday, at the Jamaica Conference Centre, COJ's Public Relations Officer Kawain Fearon said the new venture is part of the organisation's aim to improve access to their services.
