Customers of Runaway Bay Water Company Limited are to see a reduction in the monthly Price Adjustment Mechanism amount on their bills.
The Office of Utilities Regulation has approved a new base rate of 5.11 per cent for the 2023 Annual Price Adjustment Mechanism application submitted by the potable water and sewerage service utility provider.
The adjustment is applicable to Runaway Bay Water Company customers' June consumption, which will be reflected in July bills.
The OUR says this is not an increase in the company's rates, but an adjustment to the base tariff.
Runaway Bay Water Company Limited supplies potable water service in the Cardiff Hall area of Runaway Bay, St Ann and potable water and sewerage services to the Caymanas Country Club Estate in St. Catherine.
