Dolla Financial Services is reporting a significant increase in net profit for the first six months of this year, as growth in its loan portfolio and lower credit loss provisions strengthen its financial performance.
Net profit rose 36 per cent to $357 million for the six months ended June, compared with the corresponding period last year.
For the second quarter alone, net profit increased to $169 million, representing growth of about 28 per cent.
Revenue for the quarter rose 5 per cent to $536 million, while six-month revenue increased 4 per cent to just over $1 billion.
