Dameon McNally, Assistant General Manager at the NHT, in-charge of Compliance in the Contributions Management Department
Employees are being urged to keep tabs on their National Housing Trust contributions, to ensure their employers are making payments to the trust.
In an interview with Radio Jamaica News, Dameon McNally, NHT's Assistant General Manager in charge of Compliance in the Contributions Management Department, said contributors can now make those checks online.
"Once you register, you can see the information real time. Information and power is now in the hands of the employees. And so, payment deducted from your salary this month, next month you look at it. If you go NHT online and you not seeing it, call NHT, call the employers."
"So I'm using this opportunity to say to all our employees, you know, register with NHT online so it is that you have the information real time. You don't have to wait until NHT visit your employer. You don't have to wait until the employer file the annual return. The information is now readily available," he urged.
Mr. McNally said employees should report breaches to the NHT.
